Carrara marble is a durable natural stone used in architecture and sculpture for centuries. The base is thick, solid, and well-finished. That said, marble can chip if dropped on a hard surface — we recommend handling with the same care you'd give any premium item.

The Single Base is a desktop winder with a Carrara marble base. The Wall Mount is designed to be mounted on a wall with no base. Both use the same motor, sensors, battery, and app connectivity.

Each body is CNC-milled from a single block of aluminium — the same subtractive manufacturing process used in aerospace and high-end watchmaking. This creates a seamless housing with no joints, welds, or visible seams.

TPD stands for "turns per day" — the number of rotations a watch winder makes in 24 hours. Different watch movements require different TPD settings (typically 650–1,800 TPD). Using the wrong TPD can under-wind or over-stress the movement. Time Machine's app has 30,000+ profiles with the correct TPD for each model.

Each Time Machine winder has dual front-mounted sensors that detect when a watch is placed on the cushion. Winding begins automatically — no buttons or app interaction needed. When you remove the watch, winding stops. This is a fully passive, hands-free experience.

Under typical use (winding 1–2 watches with standard TPD settings), the lithium-ion battery lasts approximately one year on a single charge. Battery life varies slightly depending on TPD settings and ambient temperature.

Via USB-C. Connect a standard USB-C cable (included) to charge the battery. A full charge takes a few hours. The winder continues operating while charging.

Yes. Faulhaber motors are precision micro motors engineered in Germany, used in applications where vibration and noise are unacceptable (including medical devices and space equipment). In normal use, you won't hear the winder operating.

Faulhaber is a German manufacturer of precision micro motors used in aerospace (NASA missions), medical robotics, and industrial automation. Their motors cost roughly 20x more than typical watch winder motors, but deliver unmatched reliability, precision, and silence.

The Time Machine app has winding profiles for over 30,000 watch models from virtually every brand — including Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Breitling, TAG Heuer, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and hundreds more. If your watch isn't listed, you can set custom TPD and direction values.

The Time Machine app is available on iOS, Android, and HarmonyOS. It connects to your winder via Bluetooth.

Yes. The winder works out of the box with default settings thanks to automatic watch detection. The app is optional — it lets you fine-tune TPD, direction, and access the 30,000+ profile database.
